Class of 2018 Yield Rates

Stanford, Yale Report Record-High Yields for the Fall 2014 Freshman Class After reporting some record-low admissions rates for the Class of 2018, yield rates for the freshman class entering Fall 2014 showed some increases at some of the country’s most selective colleges and universities. Stanford University, which reported the lowest admit rate this spring at 5.07%, reported a record-high yield rate of 78.9%. About 1,690 of the 2,138 admitted students have enrolled for Fall 2014. Yale University also posted a record-high yield rate of 71.7% Harvard University’s yield rate remained the same as last year, at 82%. Harvard expects to admit only about 15-20 students off the waitlist.
